Here are the exciting features you can look forward to with the Harry Potter Tamagotchi Nano: Are you ready to bring the Wizarding World to your palm? The Harry Potter Tamagotchi Nano brings 11 different kinds of magical creatures from Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts to the Tamagotchi Nano experience, with appearances from fan-favorite characters. It is the second to be themed after a western intellectual property that is not owned by The Walt Disney Company, after the Jurassic World Tamagotchi. If the user chooses "Fantastic Beasts", it will show Newt's briefcase be delivered by an owl. Inside is a magical creature, with only its eyes visible during certain animations. The user is tasked with caring for the creature to coax it out of the briefcase. The Care menu remains the same, but the "pet" is replaced with feeding a piece of candy. There are 14 possible creatures that can appear after the three-hour period is over. Pressing the A button opens the main menu, with the options to provide care or to play the games. The "Care" options allow the user to either feed a meal or pet the creature. The meal option (depicted as a bowl of food) fills one Hungry unit, and will refuse to eat anymore once the meter is full. The petting option (depicted as a heart) fills one Happy unit, and the creature can be pet even when the Happy meter is full. The A button is also used to open the lights on and off menu when the creature has fallen asleep.

The creature is cared for by filling its meters; it has Hungry and Happy meters, each consisting of four units, which are both empty when the device begins. If either becomes empty, it will call for attention to fill them. Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.After three days (72 hours) of providing good care, the user will be prompted to either release the creature or continue raising it. If the user chooses to keep it, the device will ask again in another three days. If the user chooses to release it, the creature will depart and leave a "thank you" letter. From there, the user can start over again by pressing the A and C buttons together.
