This palette is a really basic staple palette to have and suits my medium neutral complexion perfectly!

The color selection in this palette is versatile and perfect for creating both natural everyday looks and glamorous evening styles. I prefer ABH cause its just so much more smooth especially the glitter shades, i found the glittery shades in the revolution to be really chalky, for a budget palette it is good but i reach for ABH! The shimmers are tasteful shades that blend beautifully, there are plenty of mattes (including at least 3 shades that are deep enough to double as eyeliner shades), and there is a mix of warm and cool tones that allows for some variety while still being pretty user-friendly. As someone who tends to lean towards neutral shades, I love this palette as an intro to broadening my preferred shade ranges.Anastasia Soare’s beautiful palettes are always quickly snapped up by makeup junkies, but we particularly love this latest offering of universally-flattering neutrals which are so easy to apply and blend. Happy to say many of the colors are beautiful as subtle washes, and depending on the combination, they shift so that it’s not all Orange Bronze Goddess.

The undertone is warm toned, which is not my favorite, but I was surprised by how wearable it still was on my neutral to cool undertone.

You do get 3 more eyeshadows in the Revolution palette and they are also larger than the Anastasia ones. Here are two looks I put together using each palette, I’ve put the photographs side by side so you can see the similarities. Three of the shades (Tempera, Burnt Orange and Cyprus Umber) are repeated from the Modern Renaissance, which I know disappointed some people.

In terms of crease colours, as well as warmer mattes like Burnt Orange and Sienna, there's also a cool taupe shade in Dusty Rose and something deeper in the reddish-purple brown Mulberry (I LOVE this shade as I don't have anything else quite like it in my collection).

I do think though that the Revolution palette is the perfect dupe for the Soft Glam palette, so you should definitely pick this up if your budget is slightly tighter. Create both day and evening looks with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette, a set of 14 eyeshadows that range from soft neutrals to bright sparkly tones. He is both professional and friendly with a real concern for patient welfare during and between treatments. It is nice though that, in a world where we're generally paying more for less product, Anastasia is increasing their pan size (perhaps in response to the feedback that these do have some fallout so you might hit pan sooner? What I would say is that they kick up quite a bit of fallout - I don't own Subculture but from the YouTube videos I've seen, these aren't as bad as that one!

In a finger swatch these shades go on with a punch and I think this also shows you nicely what all the undertones look like. The buttery texture of the shadows makes them incredibly easy to blend, ensuring a seamless application every time. The collection showcases warm, matte tones as well as dazzling golds to provide a soft yet glamorous look. You can however, achieve pretty much identical looks using the Revolution palette as the colour schemes are so similar.Despite ABH's reputation, I was really worried about the colors as I tend to steer away from very warm tones as well as browns, yellow or orange shades. Love it Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills is an everyday to night palette with 14 shades, including essential mattes and glamorous shimmers. However I find those shades to be the standard crease colours, so it doesn't really bother me because they aren't what make my makeup looks different to one another.
