Remember when you were reading an amazing manga and turned to a black page, you realized that was the time for an epic flashback backstory for the favourite character your love. When they find a cleaver and a hot pot in an upstairs classroom, they begin to guess the intention behind their imprisonment; they're meant to kill and eat one another to survive.

I had 1 favorite character because he waited and was rather mysterious with his intentions only for that to be thrown away by the 2nd volume. He has loving parents, an adorable little sister, and hasn't once experience any adversity or strife. Among the group are college-goers Yumi and Reiji, cabaret performer Akane, occultist salaryman Yukitoshi, factory worker Toshio of punk persuasion, unemployed Taichi, and nine-year-old Michika. Even though you have a decent idea of how the story might end, the author still manages to keep your interest consistently.Once we know their backstories, we feel some catharsis even when they are gruesomely disposed of in their own game or by their own flaws. The story is one of a typical death-game blablabla and was predictable but the characters were sort of fun to watch. From the name itself, the idea has been to put criminals and the most wicked into a very dire situation and this is why I like that the characters are unlikable and ruthless.

During the flashbacks of the MC, the MC and his then-still-alive girlfriend are braindead, whilst the girlfriend's father has the most unpractical solution to deal with the MC because he didn't aprove of him dating his daughter. Now, as of writing this review I have only actually read the first volume and skimmed the rest of the story. They discover there is no food to be found the water and electricity still works, and there’s a timer for 168 hours or seven days. Came from The Anime Man once again lol and yeah he was a bit inaccurate with the otaku and little girl scene. They don’t know why they’re there, or who put them there as they all seem to have nothing in common. Higurashi: When They Cry – GOU is a 2-volume psychological horror manga, written by Ryukishi07/7th Expansion and illustrated by Tomato Akase. I enjoys the main character's portrayal, noting that their weaknesses and occasional moments of stupidity help move the story forward without giving away any spoilers.

When I am not doing that, I enjoy reading, drawing, and collecting cute plushies (you have to balance things out. There are only two somewhat interesting characters in the manga, and neither of them are the main character the main character is boring. some are just there for the sake of being there or to add more shock value to an already shocking manga. Neither does it matters that the whole value of this manga is to shock the reader more and more with each chapter.Several strangers wake up locked in a dark abandoned school, with no idea why they're there or what they're supposed to do. The artist also draws lively facial expressions and narrates actions with good anatomy and composition. Although the chapter numbers are longer than other horror survival manga, the author manages to describe each participant's background, which enriches the story's developments.

What makes it interesting is that there are only a limited number of characters involved from start to finish. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins.Do you like helping others find a manga they’re looking for or do you simply enjoy telling others about manga?
