There were a few good aspects and surprises that developed between Shelby and Ace but I wished there was more.

I love good sex scenes in a romance book but I care about it being emotional, too but here it seemed to be all about sex, not feelings. All good things must come to an end, their vacation is a wrap, their relationship has crossed lines and they’ve caught feelings for each other.Throw in the references to a "Daddy" fetish that occur outside sexual scenes and it crosses too far over my personal boundaries from hot alpha or consensual Dom/sub. But being in such close proximity to his friend Shelby, the woman he's always had such strong friendly feelings for, he's starting to see that perhaps Sheila wasn't the one, but instead his best friend was.
