About this deal

I have never wanted to bang two peoples heads together more than Lilah and Shane. There was so much tension and energy between the two and they both are their own worst enemies. They just need to communicate more and just say what they are really feeling but they are both stubborn as each other. Throwing insults at each other whenever they are in the room together as a way to deal with everything. after his hoe phase, he got into a serious relationship for 3 years aweeeeee 🥹 (his longest ever and had nothing but good things to say about her) okay this one is legitimately a spoiler so proceed at your own risk: non-consensual public circulation of sexually explicit photographs

some discussion of weight/body stuff (reference to previous fat-shaming, following certain diets & exercise routines in service of specific acting roles, etc) While I didn't enjoy Wilder's debut book, 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘍𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘺𝘸𝘰𝘰𝘥, I was blown away by how much I adored 𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘰𝘳 𝘞𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺. This celebrity, second chance romance delivered on chaos of the industry, but also the complications of falling in love with a co-star. This whirlwind romance is rife with angst, jealousy, misunderstandings, and miscommunications. When they first fell in love, they were too young to navigate the demands of fame, a relationship in the spotlight, and the commitments that come with it. But now, they've matured enough to see things from each other's perspectives. Will they be granted another chance, or is it time to bid farewell to each other forever? Whether it was as a result of this blunder that Grey Brooks had made or not, she faced difficulty in her career, moving forward. A talented Hollywood starlet and a reclusive A-lister enter into a fake relationship . . . and discover that their feelings might be more than a PR stunt in this sexy chemistry-filled debut for fans of Beach Read and The Unhoneymooners.Rumours of their relationship began when Brooks was spotted arriving at Atkins's residence. Soon, the couple made it red carpet official by attending one of Brooks's former 𝘗𝘰𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘦 co-star's movie premiere together. But despite withstanding the heat of the scandal of their leaked private life, the pair split after less than a year of dating. Grey Brooks is on a mission to keep her career afloat now that the end of her long-running teen TV show has her (unsuccessfully) pounding the pavement again. With a life-changing role on the line, she’s finally desperate enough to agree to her publicist’s scheme: Fake a love affair with a disgraced Hollywood heartthrob who needs the publicity, but for very different reasons. In a text-book Hollywood P.R. stunt, their publicists concoct a plan to hook the two up in a “fake relationship” guarante While I wouldn’t describe this as a sad or dark romance, it does have a heaviness to it that I wasn’t expecting. I thought this might just be a lighthearted romance but there was a lot of depth, and I enjoyed this one! I’m excited to find a new debut author and I’ll be watching to see what she writes next.

Grey Brooks is struggling to get work after her sixth and final season on teen soap Poison Paradise and with no power in Hollywood she can’t get her passion project made - a book adaptation written with her best friend. Ethan Atkins was a wunderkind Oscar winner but is still reeling from the death of his writing partner and best friend, plus a highly public divorce and a drinking habit that’s spiralling. When their shared pubilist suggests a PR relationship to help both their careers, they reluctantly agree. But things don’t stay fake for long and Hollywood can be brutal.

Although the second half was more challenging to read and showed how messy and ugly life can be, I feel it added depth to their story. I love that this book offered more than just a simple fake dating; then they just live HEA. Overall: A stunning debut, with a writing style I fancy, a skillfully crafted plot, impressive character growth and a diverse selection of secondary characters. I went into Will They or Won’t They not expecting to like it, but always happy when a book proves me wrong. Ethan Atkins was an A-lister, mega-star who recently became somewhat of a recluse since the death of his friend, followed by his very public divorce.

While I don’t have any personal experience dealing with alcoholism, I think Wilder did a fantastic job weaving this topic into this storyline in a realistic way.Three years later, they are reunited for the final season of the show, where they must deliver the long-awaited happy ending, sealed with a passionate kiss. But if they can't stand being in the same room, how can they convincingly portray being in love? It broke him. , the crew and everyone that were involved with the movie all tried to curtail the excesses that they were seeing in Ethan Atkins as a result of him being aggrieved, but they could not hold him down to the end, and Ethan fooled himself and lost the role. Grey Brooks is on a mission to keep her career afloat now that the end of her long-running teen soap has her (unsuccessfully) pounding the pavement again. With a life-changing role on the line, she’s finally desperate enough to agree to her publicist’s scheme . . . faking a love affair with a disgraced Hollywood heartthrob who needs the publicity, but for very different reasons.

Plus, if you spent 2010 to 2020 watching CW shows and obsessing over the actors’ real life relationships (you know you went crazy when Damon first kissed Elena in The Vampire Diaries and you knew the actors were actually together!!!!), then, one, you are my people, and two, consider this a public service: READ THIS BOOK!!!!I hurt for both Ethan and Grey at what this was doing to them and their relationship but loved how Wilder continues their story for a fantastic happily-ever-after. Of course, no one needs to tell anyone how it is with these celebrities and the people they are involved with. One bad behavior and scandal can cost you your entire career, and if you are not careful and you are involved with a court case, it would cost you your life savings. Grey flushed. She felt her chest tighten in humiliation. She gave herself exactly three seconds to be upset: Three. Two. One. She took a deep breath, squared her shoulders, and strode up to the barista. Grey Brooks is on a mission to keep her career afloat now that the end of her long-running teen TV show has her (unsuccessfully) pounding the pavement again. fraught with off the charts sexual tension electrifying between two jilted former lovers, ava wilder’s sophomore romance novel will they or won’t they will whip you off your feet bridal-style… and dump you right into a vertiginous emotional rollercoaster!
