About this deal

The NTSC (1953) color space is introduced in 1953 by the FCC with the appearance of color television and has a wider gamut than the sRGB. UHD resolution (3840x2160), better known as 4K, offers a gigantic viewable area with 4 times more information and work space than a Full HD screen. Due to the high DPI (dots per inch), it displays an incredibly sharp and crisp image. The most widely used panels are those with 6, 8, and 10 bits for each of the RGB components of the pixel. They provide 18-, 24-, and 30-bit color, respectively.

Information about the brightness of the screen. It is measured in candela per square metre (cd/m²).

FOLLOW

The percentage of the approximate area, taken by the active part of the screen, to the total front area. The pixel pitch shows the distance from the centers of two neighboring pixels. In displays, which have a native resolution (the TFT ones, for example), the pixel pitch depends on the resolution and the size of the screen. Information about whether there is a possibility for wall mounting according to the VESA Mounting Interface Standard (MIS).

The dynamic contrast shows the ratio between the brightest and the darkest color, which the display can reproduce over time, for example, in the course of playing a video. Iiyama’s ProLite X4372UHSU-B1 is a 42.5-inch monitor featuring an IPS panel with a 3840x2160 resolution. The display features a typical brightness of 450 nits, a 1300:1 contrast ratio, a 4 ms response time, and a 60 Hz refresh rate. The monitor can reproduce 1.07 million of colors and is listed as supporting HDR, but the manufacturer doesn't list how much of the DCI-P3 gamut the monitor can reproduce, only noting that the LCD can cover 85% of the NTSC color gamut. The ratio between the horizontal and the vertical side of the display. Some of the standard and widely used aspect ratios are 4:3, 5:4, 16:9 and 16:10. Eurostat Electricity Price (as of 1st Half of 2020), ** Consumption duration based on Initiative EnergieEffizienz (as of 2013) The operating temperature shows the safe temperature range (from minimum to maximum), within which the display will function flawlessly. Outside this range it might operate improperly and/or fail entirely. The manufacturer is positioning its ProLite X4372UHSU-B1 monitor for a wide range of applications, including CAD/CAM, entertainment, photography, and visualization. To that end, the monitor supports picture-by-picture and picture-in-picture capabilities, and comes with a total of four inputs: two DisplayPort 1.2 inputs, as well as two HDMI 2.0 ports. The monitor also has an outbound DisplayPort for daisy-chaining it with another LCD. In addition, the device has a quad-port USB hub supporting two 3.0 and two 2.0 connectors. On the audio side of matters, the LCD has two 9 W speakers, a line in as well as a headphone output. The operating humidity shows the acceptable level of humidity, in which the display will function flawlessly. It sets a lower and an upper humidity level for safe operation and is measured in percentage. Approximate width of the display. If the manufacturer does not provide such information, the width is calculated from the diagonal and the aspect ratio. All three major inputs are catered for, with DVI, DisplayPort and HDMI ports sitting side by side, and there are two conveniently placed USB-A ports on the left-hand side if you want to use it as a USB hub. Connectivity is another area where the NEC EA271U wins out, however, with a forward-looking USB Type-C input and an extra HDMI connector.
