About this deal

Use this lovely dinosaur information matching game to teach children fun facts about a number of different dinosaurs and test their knowledge. Dinosaur Cards are used to summon dinosaurs, the main fighting force in every media iteration of the franchise. They are divided into seven Elements, with six regular and one special. Some dinosaurs also feature in the effects of Move Cards, where they can be part of Normal or two Elements of Super Moves.

Are you teaching your little ones how to make sense of simple sentences by sounding them out? Do you need an activity with an exciting theme that develops your children’s phonics and reading skills? Then you might like to try this fantastic Simple Sentences Dinosaur Card Game. In Happy Little Dinosaurs, the first person to reach 50 points, or be the last Dinosaur standing, wins the game! Each player starts with 20 Life Points. Put a coin or other marker on your Battle mat to show your Life Points. So, how can I make this into a Dinosaur Card Game? Well, you could try hiding the second cards with the markers, then see if your children can map out each sound in the sentence by drawing their own markers underneath. Or, you could cut the sentences off the illustrations, then challenge your children to match the sentences to the illustrations. How will these sentence cards benefit my children? The purpose of this memory game is to memorize the locations of the cards in the game and to make pairs of cards by turning them over 2 by 2. When the 2 cards match, it's a pair! You win the pair and have the right to play again, otherwise the cards are automatically turned face down and you have to make a new try.

For the "SOLO" mode, the purpose of the matching game is to find all the pairs in the least moves and in a shortest time. Additional Design and Development: (Starter Set only) Morgan Whitmont, Dan Scheidegger, (Starter Set only) Eric Bess You can have up to 3 Dinosaurs on your Battle mat at the same time. Once a Dinosaur is on your mat, it is call "in play." If you already have 3 in play, you can't Dino Slash a new Dinosaur.

It started getting a lot colder, and dinosaurs who thrived in the warm tropical climates suddenly found themselves struggling to survive. This is called the ice age.

What are some fun dinosaur facts for kids?

Tyrannosaurus: The Tyrannosaurus Rex, a predator and formidable hunter whose bite was more powerful than that of any dinosaur or any other animal that lived on earth after him.

Many of the species that roam our planet today descended from ancient dinosaurs, such as snakes, turtles and crocodiles.Pteranodon: It belongs to the family of pterosaurs, the dinosaurs with large wings capable of flying. The wingspan of the Pteranodon was 8 meters!

The word 'dinosaur' comes from the Greek word 'deinos', which means terrible, and the word 'sauros', which means lizard. Special Dinosaurs come in pairs. To Dino Slash the powerful Battle Mode (and Dinotector) version(s), you have to have the regular one in play already. When you do, put the Battle Mode (or Dinotector) Dinosaur on top of the regular version. After that, they're treated like 1 card. If the (Battle Mode/Special) Dinosaur goes to the discard pile or to your hand, the card under it goes with it. This possibly could have been caused by a meteor falling to earth, triggering changes in the environment.Dinosaurs that don't have special abilities have extra info about them in italics. This text doesn't affect the game, but it does tell you some awesome facts about your Dinosaurs! During each round, you’ll flip a Disaster card featuring a Natural, Predatory, or Emotional disaster. Each player will play a Point card in hopes of collecting points and avoiding the disaster. Once upon a time, dinosaurs walked freely around the earth. They've since died out, but there are many theories that scientists have given us to explain why. Like classic top trumps, children can play the game in pairs. One person will choose a card and say the most impressive stat, such as the dinosaur being 12 metres in length. Then, the opponent will see if they can top that number. This is a great way for children to develop maths skills and learn more about dinosaurs at the same time.
