About this deal
As part of this mission, whenever we review a product we send the company a series of questions to help us gauge and make transparent the impact the device has on the environment. The mid-treble peak can give rise to sibilance in very rare cases (e.g., David Bowie’s Under Pressure) and adds a sense of “zing” to hi-hats and cymbals. I did not find the treble too offensive for the most part, but it’s something to take note of.

The earphones are touch-operated and fairly intuitive in terms of learning curves. Users can tap on the area where the logo is not printed on the faceplate and easily operate music replay/stop and call/end call functions. Adding up to the clean and bright sound, is the wide soundstage the Final Audio sets up. Placing vocals forward, instruments and individual details appear on your left and right - seemingly from far away to close by. It's not a soundstage that feels very around you, but it's undoubtedly wide. There's an abundance of room between instruments, but ultimately, if you're used to a more dynamic sound, that's why it can also feel like there's plenty of space for the drums to be more impactful or the bass to dive a little deeper. Final Audio chooses not to walk that path. This not only gives them a cool appearance, but also makes it easier for one’s hands to maintain a good grip on the IEMs when inserting them, which becomes especially helpful when you recall that there are no wires on this product to help you avoid dropping them

This is Final Audio so I was very well expecting the A4000 to be just mildly different from the A3000, as is the case with the E-series of IEMs. There are areas where other true wireless earphones have the edge, but when compared to the Beats Studio Buds and Sennheiser CX Plus, neither pair achieves the overall tonal balance of the ZE3000. The Sennheiser carry a bigger, weighty bass performance along with a soundstage that’s presented in bigger and wider terms, but the Final are clearer in how they paint music, more revealing in the detail and nuance in Lianne La Havas’ Bittersweet.
The case can be opened using one hand. The LED bar on the front shows the battery level and doubles as a charging indicator. If you're someone who is working from home and needs to do a conference call or have a video call, you'll benefit from a pair of True Wireless Earbuds with a mic.
