About this deal

Make sure the batteries for the aircraft, goggles, and Motion Controller are all sufficiently charged for flight. If your command has worked, the drone lights should no longer flash and you should have heard a satisfying beep! You've just synced! The first thing you need to do is sync the drone with the controller (we're assuming you know how to put batteries in, right?). This can differ from drone to drone, but it's normally the following procedure:

TIP: Before linking the aircraft with the Motion Controller, make sure you have linked the aircraft with the goggles. Altitude hold: The Motion Drone has a nifty feature where it automatically holds its height for you. That means you can focus on flying it where you want it to go without the worry of going too high and out of range, or too low and hitting the floor! A new way to fly: Don’t worry about a complicated remote. This computer mouse styled controller works with the motion of your hand. Move your hand left and the drone flies to the left. Tilt your hand forwards and the drone flies forward. In no time at all you’ll have on-lookers thinking you’ve been flying for years… or inherited some serious Jedi skills!

How To Use The Buttons On The DJI Motion Controller

Press the Accelerator and the drone will fly towards the circle. Tilt the device while pressing, and the drone will make a turn.

In the video below, [Paweł] takes the motion controller for a test flight and comes away largely satisfied with the results. Some tweaks are in the works as you might expect for a first attempt, but nothing that would prevent you from building your own version today and experiencing what might be the next evolution of RC flying. If your drone battery charges via USB then make sure you are using the cable and charger provided. We can't stress enough how important this is! Also, rechargeable batteries work best if they are charged regularly. If you have left your drone for quite a while without use then a) why would you do that? and b) it might mean that it loses its ability to charge fully. The solution is a good one though: play with your drone as much as possible!TIP: Before updating the firmware, make sure the battery level for both the aircraft and remote controller is above 50%, and a stable internet connection is available. The USB-C port at the bottom of the Motion Controller can be used to charge the device and connect to a computer for firmware updates.

degree flips:To do this, all you have to do is simply push the trigger on the side and the drone does the rest for you.FCC-compliant. Measurements were taken in unobstructed environments free of interference. Always follow local rules and regulations and fly your drone within your visual line of sight unless otherwise permitted. Headless mode: Headless mode is a great feature, particularly for new pilots, which makes flying even easier. Now you don’t need to worry about which way the drone is facing and trying to figure out the correct command to give it. Simply put, if you want the drone to go to the left, tilt your hand left and that’s the way it will go, regardless of which way the drone is actually facing.Plus, headless mode gives you the opportunity to perform amazing 360° flips with ease. Simply push up the trigger on the side and watch in awe as the drone works its magic. When the drone is returning to the Home Point, please pay attention to any real-time changes of the Home Point location. You can also hold the Motion Controller and twist/rotate your forearm to the left or right to make a turn. Use the Brake button to activate the emergency brake and hover feature or to make the aircraft return to the Home Point. If you are looking for an easy way to begin your flight journey of motion control drones, this nifty gadget is it! Perfect for techies, gadget geeks and drone enthusiasts alike, this gift is sure to keep them amused for hours.Menkind Super Tip No. 4: The drone doesn't have to be up in the air flying to adjust the trim. As long as the controller is still connected to the drone (synced) then you can adjust the trim settings. This is really handy to know if the drone needs a lot of trimming. Simply land the drone, make your adjustments, then take off again to see if it's more stable. Rinse and repeat until you are happy you have the control. Obstacle sensing is only available when the aircraft is in N mode. In this mode, DJI FPV will automatically decelerate when it detects obstacles, but it will not automatically stop. Headless mode:Thismeans that it doesn't matter which way the drone is facing; it will still follow the command of your hand movement. This feature is only available when using DJI FPV. Transmitted images from the goggles to the app can be sent to a smartphone via cable (USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to lightning).
