Well, different cables didn't solve the issue and having resetup my SJ9 with the G1 that is not outputting sound over ARC (just displaying OPTICAL on its display) and it won't power down or up either. setup consists of 2 extra ceiling speakers that will bring the sounds from above as you can see in the photo below.
