Like other Oxo products, this one is made to last, even when you use it as a colander for hot foods or a bowl as a serving dish.

At a compact 19 cm, this small salad spinner is perfect for one or two servings and takes up less space in the cupboard than larger models. Traditional methods of drying salad leaves, such a shaking in a colander or patting dry with a kitchen towel, can damage the cells and leave your lettuce limp. Clear bowls are best for this, but they're not as attractive if you want to also use them as a serving bowl. The clear bowl is attractive enough to double up as a salad bowl and wouldn't look out of place on the dinner table.

The brake button on this unit was the most difficult to operate due to the force required to use the button.
